RENTAL REQUIREMENTS, RULES & POLICIES
We want to help make your GLAMPING experience GREAT! To ensure you have a fantastic and safe adventure below are our requirements, rules and policies.
Your tow vehicle must be properly equipped to legally and safely tow the trailer. Check the GVWR (Gross Vehicle Weight Rating) of your particular vehicle and then the weight of the trailer. All vehicles must be equipped with a 2” ball hitch and a 7 pin connector* as this controls turn signals, brake lights, tail lights and brakes. Our trailers with a gross weight over 3000 pounds require your tow vehicle to have a brake controller per Colorado law. If you do not have a brake controller installed on your vehicle we can provide you with a wireless brake controller or give you information on getting one installed.
*For our lighter trailers (under 3000 pounds) you do not need a brake controller and If your vehicle only has a 4 pin connector we can provide you with a 7 pin adapter. Feel free to contact us with any questions on this as it can be a bit confusing!
